Morning Light Exteriors is hiring a motivated, organized, and goal-driven Recruiting and Training Coordinator to lead the recruitment, training, and accountability of the field sales team. This position is charged with recruiting and onboarding Appointment Setters, leading them in the field, developing team members into team leads, and developing team leads into Sales Representatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of recruiting and onboarding new field marketing team members.
- Source, interview, and hire high-quality candidates utilizing job boards, local networking, and employee referrals.
- Conduct classroom and field onboarding, ensuring new hires master company scripts, objection handling, and product knowledge.
- Maintain a continuous pipeline of candidates to account for standard canvassing turnover and seasonal growth.
- Provide leadership and active canvassing in the field until a suitable team lead has been developed.
- Identify talented team members for development into Team Leads or Sales Reps.
- Facilitate daily team meetings or 'morning rallies' to motivate staff, set daily targets, and role-play customer interactions.
- Conduct ongoing field-based coaching and shadow sessions to improve individual appointment-setting rates.
- Coordinate daily activities of the field marketing team and availability of the sales team.
- Define the target canvassing areas and the respective services offered within.
- Track the contacts of yourself and all field marketing team members using our canvass management software.
- Monitor and report on team KPIs, including knock volume, lead generation, and set-to-sit ratios, ensuring weekly production goals are met.
- Manage field logistics, including the distribution and use of marketing collateral.

What You Bring
- Prior experience in door-to-door sales, canvassing, or direct field marketing.
- Proven ability to recruit, interview, and train new team members.
- Strong organizational skills and familiarity with CRM or canvassing tracking software.
